Julie is a working actor as well as freelance director and choreographer, and is an associate member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC), a member of Actors Equity, and a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG). With decades of experience in acting, directing, dance, performance credits, her goal with students is to access tangible, practical skills to allow for building and growth sharing her passion of the art and storytelling. Lucido specializes in building confidence in performers of all skill levels, from “shy students” to those wanting to refine professional techniques. Her coaching is grounded in classical training, but also digs into the practical needs of today’s actors providing coaching for auditions, scene study, and character development, with a specific focus on finding the authentic story and sharing the tools that will bring the human story to life.
